Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use Lumivano, we collect the home and household information you provide (ZIP code, home vintage, square footage, HVAC type, energy bills, household income, household size, and budget). If you create an account, we also collect your email address and hashed password.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to generate personalized electrification plans, match incentives, and provide the Service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Aggregate, anonymized usage data may be used to improve the Service.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Cloudflare D1 databases with encryption at rest. API keys and request logs are retained for billing and abuse prevention. Electrification plan inputs are stored in your browser's session storage and are not transmitted to third parties.

4. CCPA Rights (California Residents)

California residents have the right to request deletion of their personal data. To exercise this right, submit a deletion request through our API at POST /v1/account/delete or email privacy@smarttechinvest.com. We will process requests within 45 days.

5. Cookies

Lumivano uses only essential cookies for authentication sessions. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics scripts.

6. Third-Party Services

We use Stripe for payment processing and Cloudflare for hosting. These services have their own privacy policies. We do not share your household data with any third party.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion or CCPA request, personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymized audit logs are retained for compliance purposes.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption, parameterized database queries, secure headers, and hashed credentials. API keys are generated using cryptographically secure random functions.
